For me, steelehead fishing is knowing that somewhere, somehow, on the same body of water that I'm fishing, there is a guy crushing fish while I'm doing jack shit. On top of that, chances are pretty good that he has only one arm or another significant handicap. That God-awful feeling of self loathing, getting otufished by a guy with only one arm, is what steeleheading is all about.
